We always seek to incorporate modern design trends into our work.
We build upon our international experiences in our designs. We work to visit various locally owned businesses to source our materials, and our perspective is informed by a respect for the culture coupled with an appreciation of the liveliness and practicality of modern design.
Such designs become part of our client’s lifelong collection that they will never tire of, love forever, and cherish for a lifetime. Defty Design could be described as an “eclectic mix of styles” which creates an exclusive and unique tone. This mixture of styles creates the most interesting and unexpected interior while being exceptional and distinctive to that particular project and client.
Our designs tend to be a mix of price points, and we encourage our clients to splurge in certain places and pull back in others. We are not afraid to incorporate other designer’s views to keep it invigorating for the client. On a more personal note, I am the mother of two young children, so I understand the need for creating both a practical and beautiful interior. Having lived with my family in a small living space for almost all of our lives, I have been fortunate to combine functionality with design. We incorporate our knowledge of the reality of living with a family into every design decision.
